Excitement For the Future (A Rare Occasion for Me)

Lately I have been so excited about the future and in such a better mood. There are some exciting and big things coming up in my life and some other things I am hoping come soon enough. This is such a blessing for me because usually I am always worried. But, as of now I am content and excited just about life:

* My baptism ( I am getting baptized for the very first time on Easter!) I love my church Ignite and am so happy to have Pastor Jason baptize me. 

* Charley is getting neutered this Friday! I am very nervous for him but I am praying that everything goes well:

* Spring Break: Yes I am only going home for 4 days of Spring Break but then I am coming back to Greenville to work- A LOT! This does not sound exciting but it is relaxing to me. When I go home I have so many people to see and visit so it is a lot of driving and with a puppy that is overwhelming.

*GRADUATION! I graduate from ECU if I pass everything December 20120- I am so excited to start looking for a home in either Richmond or VA so I can be closer to my family and to start building a life with Sam outside of East Carolina.

*Lately I am so excited about him- he makes me so happy and feel so confident and pretty 24/7. I know sometimes I am not the best girlfriend but I truly have been stepping outside of my comfort zone to figure out how to be the best girlfriend and the bible has truly helped me. I love you Sam so much!*

3. This Brush Lab round brush saves my volume and it looks so awesome! Definitely a brand I won't miss out on

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Currently this is me above. Haha. I am in heaps of debt and I am not talking about student loans I am talking credit card debt. When I was 18 I started dating Sam my boyfriend. At the time we were 3 hours long distance and I knew I needed extra cash for when I visited. Well that "extra cash" turned into SHOES, clothes, make-up and dinners! That credit card was paid off this last semester and I recently racked it up again.

Then I just bought the Macbook pro: Best Buy Account depleted WOOPS

So- Now I am on my last whim of debt my credit union credit account (this is the emergency money) ha- I guess shoes, makeup and clothes was the emergency! 

My goal: To be officially out of my debt by August 2012! I know I can do it and you can to! 

All it takes is-----

Haha- I like approaching life with optimism!

Pains of a Server

Now that I serve--

I have learned that people can be cruel, selfish, disgusting, greedy, cheap. I know I should know this by now in life and I do. BUT- never have I seen it through the eyes of a server until today. Today was my thirds serving shift and I got, stiffed on a check of $48.00, tipped $2 on a $80.00 check and all of my tables were needy.

Y'all know I like etiquette so here it comes:


If you are going out to eat...
* Make sure you can afford the tip
* Make sure you are polite
* Know that your server is serving because they need money
* If you have a problem with your server to not lash out- ask for the manager
* ALWAYS at least tip 15% unless they were a completely horrible server
* If you are going to go out and not tip at least 15% just don't come out it will affect your service if you come back in the future (servers look out for each other)


Sorry for the Rant- but all weekend I have been serving and have just seen a terrible side of people to where it makes my stomach sick.

Hello Lovies, 
Well, I had my first server shift today and boy am I tired and proud of myself. I did very well- but when I got home my boy friend, Sam said that I had swollen calfs and knees and the back of my calfs have blue coloration as well as the knees. Does anyone know what might be wrong with me? My legs feel extremely swollen. Sorry to WEB MD you all haha!

Why I am so glad I chose a bible study

Hello Everyone- Good Morning!

I am just having a great early start to my Tuesday! Last night I had bible study with my girls I usually have it with and it was awesome. I really love connecting with people through the bible and prayer and it's so cleansing for me and just sets my week right. I love all of the spiritual quotes on Pinterest. I need to start pinning more I just don't honestly find it that important I think it's just fun to look at and get recipes and Ideas. The web is infinite on ideas so I find it too overwhelming to pin everyday! I am praying hardcore for my mom this week because she has been super stressed and in a financial burden. I hope you all have an awesome day!

Tonight I will be making this lovely cocktail...Swedish Fish flavored Vodka & Sprite 0 with a swedish fish tossed in the middle! There are other ways to make it but I am trying to be calorie friendly! 

This week has been anything but relaxing so I am trying to unwind tonight!

My NEW favorite foundation:

For $38 I got the new TARTE amazonian clay foundation. I love it. It is super blend able and acts like a deep coverage foundation but feels like a tented moisturizer. I am now a Tarte make up person. I have their blush, bronzer,  mascara, and foundation. Next I will buy their powder- It just works so good for my skin type which is combination & t-zone oil.

Sleep Deprived

Lately I feel very sleep deprived. I have been training for my new job 5 days a week and taking 4 classes a day so it's been very little time for naps like I use to. I am trying to adjust but I am trying. But I figured I would leave y'all with a picture of me and one of my good friends Jackie @ Carolina Queen on my 21st birthday!

21st Birthday Weekend!

I have been MIA all weekend and Sunday due to my 21st and my new job! ahhh! So much exciting stuff. I am going to make this post more pictures than words. But- Caution : It was my 21st and I got crazy you can judge me but trust me it won't matter! haha! I danced on the bars, took body shots off my friends, danced to Britney Spears, and on POLES...YEP! Sober - this all would never happen and hey you only live young wild and free once so I did it right!
